Privilege Card
Your card and your details
Privacy notice of 10 October 2026, updated 18 October 2026
Punjab Fabrics keeps a few details about you so your card works. This page says what we keep, why, who helps us keep it, and how you can see, change or delete it. Your card asks you to agree to it once, and again only if we change something that matters.
Who we are
Punjab Fabrics, Jaitu Road, Near Gurudwara Patshahi Daswin, Kot Kapura, Faridkot, Punjab 151204. For anything about your details, speak to Jaskaran Singh: call or WhatsApp +91 98887 07500, or ask at the counter.
What we keep, and why
- Your name and mobile number, to make your card, find it at the counter and open it on a new phone.
- Your birthday, anniversary and any occasion you tell us about (a wedding and its Lavaan date, for example), only if you give them, so the house can mark the day (a Patron's birthday gift, for example) and your wallet card can remind you before the occasion.
- Your purchases: the amount, the invoice number, the date and who entered it, to give you points, keep your tier and show your history.
- Your points and gifts, and when you use them.
- The cloth you buy (the fabric and how much), so you or your tailor can match it later, and so the counter can find pieces that go with it.
- A wedding family, if you start or join one: relatives in it see the family's name and how close it is to its gift, not each other's details.
- Your agreement: when you agreed to this notice, and whether you or our staff recorded it.
- How your card reaches your phone: which QR code or link you joined from, or which staff member added your card at the counter, any request to open your card on a new phone (with the staff member who approved it), if you add the card to Apple Wallet, the device that holds it, so the pass can update, and, if you add it to Google Wallet, when Google tells us you saved it or removed it.
- Who at the shop opened or changed your card, and when: each time a staff member looks up your card, adds a bill, changes your points or settings, or acts for you, we note their name, your card number and what they did (never your name or mobile number), to keep your details safe and to check any mistake. The owner can also open a list of cards (names, card numbers, tier, visits, spend, the last visit, when the card was opened and the birthday as day and month, with mobile numbers partly hidden) to find a customer, and can save a copy of it for the shop's own use, which also holds full mobile numbers when he ticks that. Views of the list and searches in it are noted at most once every half hour per person (a search that finds only your card is noted with your card, each time); each copy saved is noted every time, with how many cards it holds.
- The KHAAS Circle: whether you are in it, since when, and who invited you.
- Bookings and invitations: appointments you book and invitations to our evenings, with your answer and when you arrived.
- A cookie on your phone that keeps your card open there. We use no advertising cookies.
We do not sell your details, and we do not give them to anyone for their own marketing.
Links on WhatsApp
Your card sends you no WhatsApp messages. If staff make your card at the counter, or you book an appointment, or we invite you to an evening, we send you the link on WhatsApp from the shop's phone, and a short note there if the time changes or it is called off.
Notes on your wallet card
If you add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, the card can show a short note on your phone about your own card: a gift that opens today or is about to end, a gift waiting to be scratched, and a reminder before your occasion or Lavaan. On an iPhone it also says when your points change, and the cards of a wedding family say when the family makes a purchase. These notes are about your card only: they carry no offers, and they never say what a gift is worth. Near the shop, your phone may also bring the card up on its lock screen; your phone checks where it is by itself, and we never see your location. To stop these alerts, turn off notifications for the card in your phone's Wallet settings (and “Suggest on Lock Screen” on an iPhone), or remove the card from your wallet. An appointment or evening pass you add to your wallet reminds you around the day, and tells you if the time changes or it is cancelled.
Who helps us keep your details
- Supabase keeps our card records, in its data centre in Seoul, South Korea. Vercel runs this website.
- Meta (WhatsApp) carries the messages we send you from the shop's phone: the link to your card, an appointment or an evening.
- Google or Apple show your card in Google Wallet or Apple Wallet, only if you add it there: your name, card number, points, tier, gifts, cloth notes, your occasion or Lavaan date, your wedding family's name and progress (which relatives in the family also see on their own passes), and the notes on your wallet card described above. For an appointment or evening pass you add, they show your name, what it is, when, whether it is booked, moved or cancelled, and any note from the house about it.
They handle your details only to do this work for us.
A copy of the card list that the owner saves stays on the shop's own phone or computer. We share it with no one and upload it nowhere.
How long we keep them
For as long as your card is open. When you close it, it ends at once: we stop using your details, and your points, gifts, purchases, cloth and choices leave your card. India's data protection rules ask businesses to keep a record of the data and its use for a year afterwards, so we keep a sealed copy, use it for nothing else, and erase it one year after the card closed. A copy of the card list the owner saved is deleted within 30 days of saving it, so a card closed after that day leaves it by then. A note that the card number was closed, and when, stays without your name or number. The shop's own bills stay in its accounts, as tax law requires; they are separate from your card. Appointments you booked stay in the shop's bookings, no longer linked to your card, and invitations to evenings still to come are withdrawn; ask us and we cancel or delete any of them. A wedding family you started carries on for your relatives, under a new code and a plain name; your purchases still count towards its gift, as a number only. The note of who at the shop opened or changed your card is kept for one year from each entry, also after your card is closed, and then erased.
Your choices and rights
Ask at the counter, by phone or on WhatsApp, giving the mobile number your card is under. We reply within 30 days.
- See what we keep: your card shows your points, gifts and cloth. Ask us for anything else we keep about you, and who we have shared it with.
- Correct it: tell us at the counter or on WhatsApp if anything is wrong or out of date.
- Withdraw your agreement and close your card: tap “Close my card” at the bottom of your card, or ask us at the counter or by phone. Its points and gifts end with it. If the card is in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet, remove it there too.
- Name someone who can do these things for you if you die or cannot act yourself: tell us who.
- Complain: tell Jaskaran Singh first, on WhatsApp or at the counter. We will reply within 30 days. If we do not resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India, which takes complaints online through its official website.
Children
The card is for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent to open one.
If this notice changes
If we change what we keep or why, we update this page and its date. When the change matters to you, your card asks you to agree again.
